Dishwasher safe. Due to the wooden handles, be cautious of humidity and open the dishwasher at the end of the cycle to wipe the blades to avoid white spots in case of hard water. We recommend using shorter cycles and using less detergent. Stainless steel flatware will resist stains but like all metals it will react to some foods and extreme conditions. Discoloration, pitting and corrosion are most often caused by chlorides in foods like eggs, mustard, mayonnaise and table salt. Rinse your flatware until ready to put in dishwasher or hand wash. Prolonged soaking can cause discoloration, especially if flatware is heavily soiled.
