Dishwasher safe - all material including the natural woods, have been treated so they can be cared using the following procedures. Stainless steel flatware will resist stains but like all metals it will react to some foods and extreme conditions. Discoloration, pitting and corrosion are most often caused by chlorides in foods like eggs, mustard, mayonnaise and table salt. Rinse your flatware until ready to put in dishwasher or hand wash. Prolonged soaking can cause discoloration, especially if flatware is heavily soiled.
